Akshay Dhawan

Akshay is an Associate Criminal Defence Lawyer at Orcus Law LLP. He is called to the Ontario Bar and the Bar in India. He holds a B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) from Panjab University, India, and is National Committee on Accreditation (NCA)-certified. With legal experience in both Canada and India, including his articling at a prominent downtown Toronto criminal defence law firm, Akshay brings a well-rounded understanding of the legal system to his practice.

Akshay is committed to providing diligent, professional, and client-focused criminal defence representation. He approaches each matter with compassion and attention to detail, recognizing the importance of ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and informed at every stage of the legal process. Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, he is able to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
